Esther Akoth Kokeyo, also known as Akothee, recently made waves when she revealed that she and her fiance, Schweizer, aka “Omosh,” would be getting married on April 10.
Akothee revealed videos of her future wedding venue on Friday through her Instagram stories.
The location of the event is next to a water body, as stated in the video captions, and was selected by Omosh, according to Akothee.
“Inspection on my wedding venue, my husband asked for a water body. I can’t wait. 10th April it is,” she captioned the videos.
Adding:
“Auuu I chose my husbands attire . That has always been my dream haki . I am over the moon 🌙. Sasa drop for me the menue And the list of who is coming.

The statement was made a while after Omosh visited Akothee in Kisumu to discuss a dowry.
Omosh had come in Kisumu for dowry discussions, Akothee informed her followers in videos she posted from home on January 25.
On social media, the couple has been sharing their affection for one another, with Akothee promising to adore her spouse indefinitely.
After Akothee’s breakup with Nelly Oaks in June 2022, they began dating.
Akothee’s first marriage
In a recent post online, the mother of five talked about why she divorced Okello.
“Our wedding cost Sh2,500 on the 6th of July 2002,” she said.
Akothee filed for divorce after five years of marriage. The divorce was finalised in 2011
“The decree was NISI (Absolute). This marriage was therefore dissolved on 22nd May 2011 by the supreme court. Both parties are free to marry whoever they want including a tree. And your opinion won’t hold any water.”
Akothee’s post came a few days after she talked about her family being against her marrying her new white man.
Akothee said her mother still recognises her ex-husband as the legal in-law despite her divorce.
“Even if you introduce her to a billionaire, as long as you were once married, she will tell you that once your dowry was paid, you have to respect your matrimonial home,” she said.
Akothee’s wedding was set for December but she said she had postponed it since her sister is also getting married that month.
