Gospel singer and media personality Joyce Omondi has spoken up about why she keeps her marriage with Journalist Waihiga Mwaura a private affair.
Joyce recently told YouTuber Nicholas Kioko that she only made her vows to her spouse Waihiga, which she considers to be very precious.
“It’s not a secret that I’m married, but I keep things private because I only did the wedding with Waihiga alone,” she said.
The couple Waihiga did their wedding on December 18, 2015 at Sawela Lodge in Naivasha.
According to Joyce, she guards her union with the Citizen TV journalist.
“For me, my marriage to him is something very special, it’s a covenant that I have with him and God and I want to treasure it and I did not make my vows to everybody, it’s something that I guard and treasure that way,” she said.
Sharing her experience about working together in the same company, she explained;
“You know we don’t even bump into each other that much because he’s in mostly during the week and I only go in on Sundays. He’s in a different department, he also leads a department at Citizen and I am under production so we never even meet at work contrary to what most people think.”
Early this week, the stunning gospel singer Joyce Omondi expressed how happy she was to share a life with her husband Waihiga.
“Thank you for who you are and all you do. You truly are a gift worthy of celebration every day. So here’s to many more years filled with joy, love, grace, and every good thing from above! Also, it’s that smile for me,” she wrote.
