“She Was Cheating” – Gospel Singer Arrested With Girlfriend’s Head Speaks

Authorities in Nassarawa State, Nigeria, have arrested Oluwatimileyin Ajayi, a 32-year-old gospel singer, in connection with the brutal murder of his girlfriend, 24-year-old Salome Adaidu, a National Youth Service Corps member.

Ajayi was taken into custody on Sunday, January 12, after being spotted near a church throwing a suspicious bag into a river.

When confronted by congregants, the bag was discovered to contain the severed head of his girlfriend.

The Singer’s Shocking Confession

In a chilling interview with the press, Ajayi admitted to killing Salome, accusing her of infidelity.

“I caught her having inappropriate chats with other men. She was cheating and hid most things from me. I saw her phone chats with other guys,” he said.

Ajayi claimed that when confronted, Salome initially denied the accusations but later admitted to them and apologized. Despite her apology, he took matters into his own hands.

“She said she was sorry and it would not happen again. I told her to go into the bathroom, and then I took a knife and ended her life. I did what I had to do,” he recounted.

No Remorse for the Crime

When asked if he regretted his actions, Ajayi’s response stunned many.

“I don’t have any regrets,” he said, showing no remorse for the heinous act.

He also refuted claims that he was caught while attempting to dispose of the body, insisting instead that he voluntarily surrendered himself to the authorities.

“I surrendered myself,” Ajayi stated, maintaining that he was ready to face the legal consequences of his actions.

Authorities Promise Justice

Local law enforcement has assured the public and the grieving family that justice will be served.

The case has sent shockwaves across the country, sparking outrage and calls for swift legal action. The brutal nature of the crime, coupled with Ajayi’s lack of remorse, has drawn significant media attention and condemnation from all quarters.

As investigations continue, the authorities have emphasized their commitment to ensuring that Salome’s family receives justice for their tragic loss.
