Eldoret-based gospel singer William Getumbe is a man who loves his wife beyond mere imagination.
Taking to Facebook, the musician shared a photo of him carrying his beautiful wife, Virginia Masitha, on his shoulders.
The photo depicted them in high spirits and one could tell clearly that Getumbe is a romantic man.
According to the pastor, he always carries his wife like that at least once a month and the habit has kept their marriage happy.
Getumbe has urged married men who want to keep their marriages happy to embrace the practice.
According to him, it is those simple things that matter the most to women.
The artiste claimed that if one can carry his wife high on his shoulders at least once a month, the woman will be loyal and won’t cheat on such kind of a man whatsoever.
“Women love those simple treats, carrying her on your shoulders will warm her heart. Just carry her at least once a month and she won’t cheat. I have been doing that and it works so well. She is happy and loyal,” Getumbe told TUKO.co.ke.
In July 2022, Getumbe said gospel artistes are neglected big time by Christians and church leaders.
Getumbe argued that it is not fair for preachers to pocket everything they get without considering gospel artistes since they usually play their music.
“These pastors are too selfish. They pocket everything they get alone. While secular musicians get money for doing backups during entertainment, gospel singers are neglected and they have no such opportunities.
I want to challenge pastors to share with gospel musicians church offerings. Let them invite artistes to crusades and church events and pay for their services because they depend on us. They play our songs during their preaching sessions,” Getume said.
