A doctor’s report states that the singer’s death was caused by an enlarged heart brought on by excessive blood pressure.

‘Today postmortem was done to identify the cause of the death and as per the doctor’s report, Illagosa died due to blood pressure that had caused heart enlargement,” the statement reads.

According to Luhya tradition, a deceased person must spend at least one or two nights in their living rooms before being buried after being transported home from the mortuary.

According to reports, the gospel artists raised some money via a WhatsApp group and then sent the money to the family to build the house.

On February 16, Illagosa will be laid to rest in his native Kakamega.

The musician claimed in a video that surfaced after his death that he had been poisoned, and many people felt bad for him.

Illagosa observed that he had been poisoned by someone connected to the gospel business so he might end his ministry.

The Sala Zangu singer remarked that the alleged poisoner was a person who devoted their entire life to the altar.

“They are trying to finish me so that I do not preach the word of God. An adult poisons me then goes ahead to stand on the altar to praise? I am a seed of God and I will praise his name. A son of Vihiga county you cannot finish me, and I cannot die thank you very much,” Illagosa said in the clip.
