“Getting a man is hard. Men say I’m too loud” Wilbroda explains why she still Single
Milele FM presenter and former Papa Shirandula actress Jackline Nyaminde Wilbroda is single and searching.
Wilbroda, who prefers to keep her private life under wraps, revealed that she was single during an interview on Switch TV.
“Natafuta mtu. Mimi kuuza CV ni hard. Hao wasee wote wanataka kunikatia wameniona wanasemanga uko na makelele sana hatuwezi (I’m searching. Getting a man is hard. All those men who want me know me but they always say I’m too loud)” she said.
“But sikuwangi hivo. Nitasubmit (I’m not like that, I will submit)”
Wilbroda urged couples to respect one another.
“I believe that if you love your wife like Christ loved the church and your woman will submit…a
lot of times we think that being submissive is torture, it not like that,” she said.
The thespian said even for people co-parenting, they need to respect each other for it to work.
Wilbroda also revealed that her baby daddy and their son have a great relationship. “My son and his dad are in each other’s lives ,” she said.
The multitalented actress also said women shouldn’t deny their baby daddies rights to see their children whether he is supporting them or not.
“Give your child a chance to know the other parent whether it is a man or woman,” she said.
Speaking about her failed marriage, revealed that relatives contributed to her failed marriage because they were always in her house.
“I was that I was with my relatives all the time. My sisters were always at my house, I didn’t see a big deal with it until later on after we broke up, he mentioned it to his friend,” she said.
Adding:
“I didn’t see that. Looking at it now I am like, I contributed to their coming. I went overboard. I enjoyed their company but it cost me.”
Wilbroda aid she has since learnt not to entertain visitors at her house anymore.
“I no longer entertain visitors even my relatives. People need their personal space. It’s one of the things you have to be mentally prepared to have friends over.”
