It seems love is doing singer Akothee “ile kitu” (In a good way though)
The self-proclaimed president of single mothers now says that every woman needs a man.
This current statement contradicts her philosophy that women do not need men as they should be self-sufficient.
Akothee shared her thoughts in a post where she was congratulating her friend, Mwamvita Makamba, for finding love and wishing her a happy birthday.
According to Akothee, every woman, regardless of how strong she looks or the money she has, needs a man that make her vulnerable.
She wrote, “every woman needs a man who makes her vulnerable, it doesn’t matter how much money she has or how strong she is.”
However, she insisted that the only type of man that make a woman vulnerable is the one who makes things happens. According to her, only boys watch their women thriving and take credit of what their women have accomplished.
She claimed, “At this Age, all we need is A man who can make it happen ,not boys who will watch it happen and take credit on the same ,we reach some level of life where if it doesn’t make sense its not worth it .”
Being a divorcee and a single mother of five, Akothee has always been at the forefront encouraging women to be independent of men.
Her current relationship with Nelly Oaks, which has lasted for years, seems to be softening the tough lady on matters of love.
In a recent post, Akothee exclaimed how Nelly Oaks had provided her with the best companionship she has ever had. She also revealed that she was planning to have a child with him, increasing the number of her children to 6.
Akothee’s sentiments seem to reflect the notion that young single women eventually yearns for companionship as they age no matter how independent they feel.
