A police officer assigned to Deputy President William Ruto has been rushed to the hospital with serious injuries after a confrontation with a gardener at DP’s private property in Karen, Nairobi,
According to a police record obtained by Mkenya Leo , the gardener struck Corporal Timothy Mugendi Rucha on the back of the head after the argument went physical.
The police report states, in part, “The officer was transported to Nairobi West Hospital in severe condition with several brain injuries.”
The incident took place, around 12.20am on Thursday.
Nicholas Kibiwot Rono, the gardener, has already been detained for arraignment.
