Yesterday, Dr. Ofweneke’s ex, Nicah the Queen, dropped a bombshell that she had broken up with her new lover, DJ Slaver. She went to her Instagram page to announce that she and Slaver decided to separate after having a meaningful conversation about their relationship.
As usual, we, the social media inlaws, turned our heads to see if Slaver would respond to this announcement and at least get his side of the story,
Well, Slaver has finally responded through his Instagram page.
In his post, the heartbroken man thanked everyone who had tried to check on him after Nicah’s announcement.
He assured his followers that he was okay though he refused to comment about his failed relationship with Nicah. He claimed that it was unwise to do so since none of them (him and Nicah) had recovered. He added that he was not in his right mind to comment on what really happened.
This is what he said, “I don’t think I can say anything at the moment until both of us recover from whatever just happened. It wise not to say anything while not in my right senses.”
While his response was full of wisdom and maturity, the social media in-laws, especially the “wataachana tu” committee, are not having it.
A while back, Nicah had posted a video of her washing Slaver’s feet, urging women to do the same if they wanted to keep their man. On a separate occasion, the two had told the public that they were completely in love and had already officiated the union through the traditional wedding.
Now, the “Wataachana Committee” is using these events to poke the couple, which is undergoing a normal relationship turmoil.
One Ken_Kennie.ke mocked, “normalize washing his feet amerudi sokoni.”
Another Marion Njoroge claimed, “we told you nothing can keep a man who doesn’t want to be kept. Hata ukisugua miguu ni bure!
Nicah had a dramatic separation from Dr. Ofweneke, with whom they have two children. At least this time, Nicah has ended things more maturely and calmly.
We wish both of them the best and luck!
