Diplomat Observer Mistaken as Terror Suspect after Inner Wear Mistaken for a Bomb

A diplomat observer of the ongoing electioneering exercise, Dr. Amakove Wala, will live to remember Sunday, 14th August 2022 as the day she was mistaken for a terror suspect.

Dr. Walla narrated that the police officer mistook her innerwear for a thong.

She hilariously explained on her Face that she had stepped outside of Bomas, the national tallying center, for a break. On returning, she was stopped by two officers who had spotted a bump in the left jean trousers behind her knee.

She claimed that one of the officers said that the bump looked suspicious. To make it worse, it looked like a bomb.

The officers then directed other two female officers to body search Dr. Walla in the Washrooms. They, however, warned the female officers to be careful of the bomb.

Dr. Walla wrote, “One of them warns the female security agent to watch out that I might kill her when inside the toilet. So they call three more female security agents. I am a spectacle to behold.”

She realized the bump when she was undressing in the washrooms.

She explained to her followers that she had undressed hastily the previous night, causing her innerwear to get stuck in her jeans. She wore the same jeans today morning but did not notice that her innerwear was still stuck in her trousers.

“So in my haste to undress last night, the thong was removed together with the jeans. Today as I put on the jeans again, I slipped my legs into the jeans from where they were dumped last night,” she wrote.

While her experience of being mistaken for a terror suspect was traumatizing, Dr. Walla claimed that it had made her realize that security at Bomas had been beefed up owing to the ongoing verification process.

She said, “And that is how Amakove has confirmed that these guys don’t joke with security here.”

She went on to insist that the officers had done their job with a lot of respect, without using excessive force or foul language.

She hilariously advised women not to wear inners to avoid situations like her.
