Taekwondo-savvy private detective Jane Mugo has joined the list of big-wigs who are “crying” after failing in the UDA nominations held on Thursday, 14 April.
Jane was vying for the Kirinyaga Woman Representative Seat under the UDA party.
Despite the UDA officials promising a free and fair nomination exercise, Jane is not a
contended loser.
She took to her Instagram account to decry foul in the hotly contested seat. She even shared a video of someone marking a ballot paper intended for the elections.
According to Jane, she won the nomination race, and her defeat was her competitors’ plan to oust him from the race. She claimed that corrupt leaders want her out to have someone they could manipulate.
She said, “ I warn in kirinyagah county but two corrupt UDA decided to steal from me so that they have someone they can manipulate.”
Nonetheless, she did not forget to thank those who supported her. She promised that she would never stop serving God and the community despite the nomination exercise being unfair to her.
“Thanks everyone who prayed for me, supported me online, with campaign materials and opinions …… There is God in heaven but i will never stop serving God and community. Happy Holiday,” she said.
In her campaigns, Jane had presented herself as a God-fearing, courageous, hardworking, fighter, and lioness woman. She had promised the people of Kirinyaga County that she would use her spying skills to smoke out corrupt leaders who had been in office for years without helping people.
Previously, Jane, who boasts of an African Top-Spy award, claimed she has helped solve many criminal cases in the country but also made herself many enemies.
Now, Jane has the option of running as an independent candidate or appealing to the UDA party to consider her complaints, as the law requires.
