Kenya Breweries Ltd (KBL), a subsidiary of East African Breweries Ltd (EABL), has officially launched its latest innovation, the Manyatta Pineapple & Mint Can, expanding its cider portfolio to meet evolving consumer preferences.
The Manyatta Pineapple & Mint Can was introduced during Ngemi Homecoming 3.0, a cultural celebration of music, fashion, culture, food, and refreshing new flavours
Veronica Waweru, Brand Manager – Manyatta, emphasized the event’s significance, stating, “Ngemi and the launch of our new Pineapple & Mint Can showcased Manyatta’s commitment to innovation and cultural celebration.”

She highlighted the success of the Manyatta Village section, where attendees immersed themselves in a vibrant cultural setup that resonated with the brand’s ethos of embracing African heritage.
Following the launch, KBL plans to distribute the Manyatta Pineapple & Mint Can nationwide, ensuring easy access to consumers looking for refreshing, fruit-infused alternatives to traditional alcoholic beverages.

Manyatta Cider was first introduced in 2023 as the inaugural product from KBL’s KES 1.2 billion (US$7.85 million) microbrewery in Ruaraka.
The cider market in Kenya has experienced significant growth, driven by millennial and Gen Z consumers seeking fruitier, lower-alcohol options.
KBL has also expanded its offerings with the introduction of Snapp Dry Cider, a crisp, semi-dry beverage designed to appeal to modern consumers, particularly women looking for a balanced fruitiness with a more complex flavor profile.
Snapp Dry Cider is now available at leading retailers, supermarkets, and e-commerce platforms across Kenya, ensuring convenient access to the latest addition to KBL’s growing cider lineup.
