It is not secret that president elect William Samoei Ruto is one of the top richest and powerful politicians in the country having made himself rich through extensive agricultural activities, setting up businesses through partnership with other industries and through legal Government projects.
The Kenya Kwanza leader has been seen using very expensive cars during his campaign.
However, there’s one special that is now very familiar to every Kenyan – Lexus LX 570 KCU 194.
During the 2022 general elections, Ruto used the car to campaign across the country. In some instances, it was stoned in Kondele, Kisumu County.

And yesterday, the legendary car took the president-elect to the State House where Ruto visited to meet the outgoing president Uhuru Kenyatta.

It is evident that Ruto loves using Lexus LX 570 car which is among the most expensive luxurious cars in Kenya owned by a few rich people in the state.
The price of purchasing one is ¢86930 which is approximately Ksh 10M.
However, these are some of the reasons why the Lexus LX 570 is not a good ride for the common citizen and why most politicians do not go for it despite having all that it takes to own them.
1. High fuel consumption
One thing that is obvious of these best performing cars worth more than ten million is that it will suck more pennies from your pocket due to the fuel consumption.
With a fuel capacity of 138 litres, the particular car consumes uses a lot of fuel within a short distance.
2. Weight versus its performance
The LX 570 is heavy and from the looks, at this is true. Its steering is slow and syrupy, its brakes are touchy and overboosted, and its 5.7-liter V8 fails to move the SUV forward with the authority expected of an engine that makes 383 horsepower.
3. Inferior to other SUV
The car is spacious and powerful but when compared with luxurious SUVs it is short. If you are the kind that usually go for luxury and space, then this is not your type.
