After officially opening Keses MP Swarup Mishra’s majestic residence in 2020, DP William Ruto admitted he was impressed.
Apart from the main home, which could be mistaken for a state lodge, Mishra’s estate contains three more spectacular structures.
Ruto was blown away by Mushra’s home
The MP and guests were seen dancing to a live band on the large lawn, which could potentially hold hundreds, in footage from the housewarming party. The arrival of Ruto, who was ecstatic to see the cabro-block-paved compound, was the highlight of the night.
The DP was greeted by the owner of the Mediheal network of hospitals, his wife, and two children.
Mishra then gave Ruto a tour of his house, which left an impression on the DP.
“I have been to many homes, but I haven’t been in one like this one,” Ruto admitted.
The presidential hopeful further noted that the stately mansion had put the region on the map.
“It is important to have a decent and good home. You have helped us make a huge statement in Uasin Gishu. Congratulations on your wonderful home.
Aside from serving your people, you are helping us to appreciate different things. This is what Eldoret is all about,” Ruto said.
Inside Mishra’s mansion
Footage of the interior depicted high ceilings in the living room, topped off with three classy chandeliers.
Mishra’s house features numerous paintings and decorations, and he was photographed with the DP in what appeared to be a prayer room.
There is another living room upstairs, featuring recliner seats, huge TV and a chandelier.
The house door opens up to the front lawn, which has a glass gazebo. To one side of the front door is a fountain.
A perimeter wall secures Mishra’s compound, and the majestic gate features numerous security guards. In addition, the entire compound is well lit at night to ensure intruders are easily spotted.
Mishra campaigns in armoured SUV
In other news, Mishra, who fell out with Ruto and opted for an independent ticket, has been capaigning in an armoured car.
Photos shared on social media depicted Mishra atop the black Toyota Land cruiser.
Ruto recently castigated Mishra for allegedly saying that he would buy voters to retain his parliamentary seat.
