The President’s Council of Economic Advisors’ chair has been selected as renowned economist David Ndii.
Joseph Kinyua, the departing head of the public service, made the declaration on Friday, October 14.
In a statement provided to media outlets, Kinyua said, “It is notified that His Excellency William Ruto made numerous appointments to the senior ranks of the Executive Office of the President on October 14.
Felix Koskei, a former cabinet secretary (CS) for agriculture, will take over for Kinyua as head of the public service and serve as chief of staff.

Former Turkana governor Josphat Nanok, who was appointed Deputy Chief of Staff, will assist him.
Kamau Thugge, a former principal secretary of the Treasury, was named senior advisor and head of physical affairs and budget policy, and Augustine Cheruyoit was named to lead the secretariat for economic reform.
A member of the president’s Council of Economic Advisors will be Nancy Laibuni.
Former Kajiado South MP Katoo Ole Metito, who was appointed State Huse Comptroller, is also included on the list.
