A Malindi Court released Jubilee blogger Pauline Njoroge and two other people on Monday evening.
Four counts of offenses relating to cyberspace had been brought against the three at their arraignment.
They all disputed the accusations.
Njoroge and the other two were to have been detained for 30 days, but the State abandoned that request during the hearing.
The court concluded that the three can be released because the request for detention orders had been renounced.
On Wednesday, the subject will be brought up again for more guidance.
