Colonel Mustapha breaks down how he will use the millions contributed by Kenyans
On May 11, CAS Charles Njagua alias Jaguar had a press conference with Colonel Mustafa during which Jaguar revealed that friends had come together to raise money to support the struggling ex-musician.
Jaguar said that Mustapha is an old buddy while presenting the cash.
He claimed that after learning about his situation, nearly 15 friends gathered.
“Tumepnaga kumpelekea kwa mamake on Tuesday…hajwahi tutusi, hajawahi kutufanyia madharau kwa hivy o ni mtu kama familia yangu. Nilimjua nikiwa kijana mdogo nikifanya kazi Chemist huko Tena.”
Jaguar added that Mustapha had once led him to the Ogopa studios.
Jaguar expressed surprise when learning that Mustapha needed assistance after going viral.
“Hakuna siku alinipigia kuniambia ako kwa shida. Na kuna watu wanajua kujikakamua kamam mtu ako kwa shida”
Mustapha thanked Kenyans including Jaguar and assured them the money would not be misused.
“Ni ndugu yetu. The good thing about the team we formed, consists of people well known to Mustapha like Big Ted and Sonko. We had asked him the day he is free so that we deliver the money to his mother personally,” he stated.
Adding:
“ile kitu muhimu ni kumsaidia kwa matibabu ya maa yake.”
Mustapha praised Jaguar for outlining his intentions with the cash.
According to him, he will have separate accounts for himself and his mother.
“Nitajaribu sana kummalizia kibanda yake, nyumba ambayo anaishi haiko fiti nitamsaidia juu chini kumfurahisha,” He explained.
Colonel Mustafa on relationship
In an interview with Mungai Eve, the Adhiambo hitmaker narrated that being broke made him focus on surviving as he had no means to go on a date.
“Nimekaa Sana. Mimi nimekaa. Nimekaa bila. Kuna time watu walikuwa wakisema wanakaanga long distance ama miezi tatu, sita. Mimi nimekaa kwa sababu hakuna kitu ninaweza fanya. Life imekuwa expensive, siwezi peleka mrembo. Nimekaa mpaka nikazoea, nikasema it’s okay,” he said.
