A tragic incident has left a family in shock after a man, identified as Collins Kiplagat, reportedly threatened to take his own life, leaving behind a deeply emotional suicide note.
In his final message, Kiplagat addressed his parents, siblings, and most painfully, his two young daughters, expressing regret for his decision.
“To my parents and my two girls, I’m really sorry to disappoint you in this way. I know you’ll have a huge gap to fill in your lives, mostly my daughters, because you’ll never experience fatherly love again in this world. I could be having my own perfections and imperfections as your dad, but the little time we have spent I’ll forever cherish, and I loved you unconditionally. Raise up to be responsible and dependent women in the future. God will protect you all through. Don’t judge my actions… AND I KNOW, when you’ll find this message, I’ll be long gone. This is the best way I have seen to STOP my endless pain of depression and judgments.”

He revealed his struggles with mental distress, stating that he had tried all possible ways to resolve what was disturbing him, but all efforts had been in vain.
“I have tried all ways possible to solve what really disturbs me, but all has gone through vain. I know there are some few fellows whom I have shared my situation with, including my brothers and sisters, but nothing has changed. My phone tone is ON.”
He made a special plea to his mother, asking her to take care of his daughters whenever she had the chance. “To mum, take care of my two little daughters whenever you’ll have a chance. Check their well-being.”

However, his note took a sharp turn as he addressed his siblings with anger and disappointment, accusing them of betrayal.
“To all my siblings, I’ll never forgive anyone of you. No one of you is real, the backstabbing is what you people can do best!”
Kiplagat’s devastating message has sparked discussions on mental health, family relationships, and the urgent need for support systems. Many who came across his note expressed sorrow over his pain, urging people to be more compassionate and supportive of those struggling with depression.
Authorities have launched investigations into the incident as the family comes to terms with the painful loss.
