Citizen TV’s Yvone Okwara Lands New Job With An International Organization
Yvonne Okwara, a news anchor for Citizen TV, has landed a new position as Enactus Kenya’s new chair of the advisory council.
On Monday, April 3, Okwara released a message on Twitter in which she expressed her honor at taking the helm of the Enactus Kenya advisory committee.
“I’m deeply honored to take leadership of the advisory council at Enactus Kenya.
“Very excited to lead the team after 4 years of being part of the council! Looking forward to reinvigorating our activities,” she wrote.
In a different statement, Okwara welcomed business leaders to the organization and expressed her excitement to collaborate with professors and students to develop novel ideas and enduring social enterprises.
“Young people have the passion, drive and talent. I am excited to work with the Enactus, faculty members and students to build their innovations and high-impact sustainable social enterprises to market. I welcome leaders from the private sector to join us in this noble venture”
