Kevin Bahati, president of the EMB, is the newest artist to get the YouTube Golden Plaque, which is granted to users who reach one million subscribers.
Mtoto wa Mama declared the celebration and thanked his supporters for helping him reach the new achievement.
He continued by saying that the honor will significantly raise his visibility as a recording artist.
Bahati is Kenya’s second artist to win the Golden Plaque.
Otile Brown, an R&B musician, was the first person to get a YouTube award for reaching one million subscribers.

In June this year, Bahati’s own YouTube page hit a milestone after he clocked a million subscribers becoming the second Kenyan musician to hit the milestone.
YouTube’s Gold Play Button is a testament to the hard work and dedication a creator has shown in developing their channel to this level.
The WCB President holds the number spot when it comes to the artiste with the most YouTube subscribers in Africa.
He has over 7 million subscribers on his channel since joining the streaming platform on June 12, 2011.
