Azziad finally breaks silence after her new government appointment

Azziad Nasenya, a producer of digital material, has at last spoken on her selection to a committee that would direct the government’s implementation of its agenda for the creative industry.

Azziad explained how she got the lucrative job in a lengthy Instagram post in which she also thanked the CS for the position.

For the benefit of the entire creative economy and people like herself who work within it, she also pledged to take the position seriously.

“I sincerely thank Honourable @ababuterrah and the entire Ministry of Youth Affairs, Sports & the Arts team for nominating me to be part of the Creatives Technical Committee. I am a firm believer in the potential of the creative economy as a fulfilling career and source of income, and beneficiary of the same.

I, therefore, commit to applying my knowledge and experiences gained in the digital space as a content creator to support the growth of the creative sector and ensure that the vision of Talanta Hela is realized.”

The TikTok dance queen went on to add that she was ready to work alongside her colleagues to better the industry.

“I am ready to work with fellow colleagues in the committee and all industry stakeholders to fulfill the mandate bestowed upon me.

I believe that with your support, the future of the creative economy is bright.

Together let us put money in our pockets. #azziad”

Two days ago A Creatives Technical Committee was formed by Youth Affairs, Sports, and Arts Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba.
