Kapseret Member of Parliament (MP) Oscar Sudi was on Friday, August 5, 2022, left shocked after an opinion poll he shared showed Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition presidential flagbearer Raila Odinga leading as the most preferred candidate.
In the opinion poll, shared by the legislator who is an ardent supporter of Deputy President William Ruto, 57 per cent of the supporters out of the 57,547 participants, preferred Raila to DP Ruto.
Sudi has since pulled down the Twitter poll after the results emerged contrary to expectations.
From the initial results of the poll seen by Mkenyaleo.co.ke, the Raila emerged as the most prefered.
Of the total participants, 61% said they will vote for the Azimio ticket in the August 9 General Election which is due in about three days.
Ruto followed a distant second in the poll, garnering 39% of the total votes.
However, the poll was pulled down moments later presumably due to the unexpected outcome.
The live link to the initial tweet bearing the poll indicated the post had been deleted.
