Keroche Breweries heiress, Anerlisa Muigai is happy after meeting with President William Ruto.
According to her, the President was even curious as to why she has never tried to sell him water.
Taking to her Instagram account, Anerlisa expressed her excitement saying:
“Today, I met H.E President Dr William Ruto. His opening question was a heartfelt surprise;”Why haven’t you tried to sell your water to me?” His understanding of the struggles of local entrepreneurs is encouraging. And the answer is clear. State and government functionaries must and should embrace
“Made in Kenya” to support what Kenyans produce. KE Govt and County governments must consume Kenyan brands.
It is one of the ways local brands can grow. I feel blessed that we have a president who gets it. Let’s brace for a new chapter.” She encouraged
In 2019 Anerlisa had taken to social media to plead with Former President Uhuru Kenyatta after her parents were arrested.
The couple was arrested over allegations they had evaded paying tax which was in billions.
“I am writing in regards to our local entrepreneurs. I am humbly requesting you to intervene and help/protect us all in businesses.
Everyday our local entrepreneurs are being fought. We trust and believe that you will do something about it,” Anerlisa pleaded
Adding
“It doesn’t matter what position you are in, nobody should ever watch their mother go through harassment. #iStandWithKeroche #iStandWithTabitha,”
Anerlisa’s mum Tabitha Karanja won the Nakuru Senate seat while vying under UDA.
The first time politician beat five other candidates garnering 98,439 votes against her closest challenger Daniel Gichanga who got 12,240 votes.
