Friends School Kamusinga is a boys’ boarding national school located in Kimilili Constituency in Bungoma County; Western Region, Kenya.
Since it’s foundation 1956, Friends School Kamusinga commonly known as Frishka has produced some of the most influential public figures in Kenya.
Most of its alumni terms it as an island of hope and boasts in academics and co-curricular activities such as drama, hockey and basketball.

How to join Friends School Kamusinga School
For one to join Frishka, a student must score above 400 marks.
Form one admissions to this school are mostly done by the Education Ministry.

1. Chris Kirubi
Chris Kirubi (born Dr. Christopher John Kirubi) was a proud alumnus of Friends School Kamusinga.
He was a rich business mogul who largely invested in different industries in Kenya.
He passed away on the afternoon of 14th June, 2021 after battling cancer for several years.
The man is said to have accomplished all of Abraham’s Marslow’s hierarchy of needs and successfully breaking the glass ceiling.
2. Moses Wetangula
He studied at Busakala, then went to Teremi and completed his high school at the Friends School of Kamusinga High School.
Wetangula earned an A Plain and then entered the University of Nairobi for his LLB degree. He proudly associates himself with the school.
Wetangula represented Sirisia Constituency in the National Assembly from February 2003 until January 2013.
3. Cleophas Malala
Malala is an alumnus of Friends Kamusinga School alumni.
He started his political career back in 2013 after vying and winning the MCA seat for Mahiakalo ward in Kakamega.
In 2017, he proceeded to vie for the Kakamega senator seat, in which he still won. He was then appointed to be the Deputy minority leader in the senate.
However, he was ousted in March 2021 and replaced by Kilifi Senator Stewart Madzayo, after being accused of gross misconduct.
4. Cleopa Mailu
Former Health Cabinet Secretary Cleopa Mailu is a proud product of Kamusinga. He is famous for effecting the ban of shisha sale in the country.
As an appreciation to the school, he built a state of the art dormitory for the school in 2011. Currently he is Kenya’s ambassador and permanent representative to the United Nations World Trade Organization (WTO).
