If there are people living happily in Kenya are children of this generation. Parents are going out of their way to make their children happy.
Do you remember how Luo singer Dola Kabarry gifted his daughter a 6M Prado Landcruiser for passing the KCSE exams in April?
Well, Singer Bahati’s baby mama Yvette Obura, or Mama Mueni as we know her, has joined this trend. Mama Mueni has bought Mueni Apple’s iPhone X retailing for about 60k.
In her Instagram post, Mama Mueni said she had promised to buy her daughter a phone if she performed well in school. Mueni did well in school, and she had to fulfill her promise.
“I Promised my baby @mueni_bahati I’ll buy her a phone if she performs well in school. And she did?゚リハ Sooooo I got her this small beauty from my go-to guys @slickgadgetske,” she said.
The post featured a video of her unboxing the new phone. She explained to her fans that she was unboxing to install restrictions to protect Mueni from the Internet craze.
According to her, it is her responsibility to control what her daughter can access online.
“Of course, I’m unboxing it in order for me to put some restrictions on the phone before she can have it. In this social media era, I have to be responsible with what my daughter can access,” said Mama Mueni.
Her followers were excited that Mueni now owns an expensive phone at her age, which is uncommon for most people, especially from older generations.
Iylyane_fletcher exclaimed, “Mueni has my dream phone!”
Akinyi 3246 wrote, “see my life ooooo?゚リツ? iPhone for Mueni na Mimi natumia kamkebe kengine hapa?゚リツ?゚リツ? happy for you people.”
Joanne Chepkemoi commented, “Oh God? alafu mm niko na tecno Pop 2f na hio ndio simu ya dooh mob kwangu ?”
Mama Mueni co-parents Mueni with Bahati and his wife, Diana Marua. Bahati and Diana are yet to express their thoughts on Mueni’s gift.
Recently, Mueni moved to live with her father at his newly acquired mansion. Perhaps, that is also another reason why her mother got a phone.
Anyways, congratulations Mueni for owning a new EXPENSIVE phone, and may you always perform well at school. As for Mama Mueni, Kudos to the sweet parenting.
