The ongoing construction of the Nairobi Expressway in the city has ignited a debate in the South Africa region.
The debate was ignited after a South African strategist, Marie Joubert on Monday, April 18, lauded the state-of-the-art road project projects being undertaken in the country. specifically the Nairobi Expressway.
President Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration for the construction of the 27km road running from Mlolongo to Westlands, set to ease congestion in Kenya’s capital city.
In a tweet, Marie said Kenyans don’t move to other countries, specifically South Africa, because they choose to build their country.
“You never see Kenyans running to South Africa. They quietly develop their own country.”
