Parents and guardians whose children took the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education exam should check where their youngsters are expected to report for secondary school admission, according to Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha.
Magata Bruce Mackenzie scored 428 marks in the 2021 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education exam, making him the top student in the country.
On Monday, April 11, CS Magoha told the media that the results of secondary school placements can be viewed by mobile phone messages.
According to the CS, Magata Bruce Mackenzie, the top Candidate in KCPE 2021 has been selected to join Alliance High School.
To receive secondary school joining instructions, parents of the over 1.2 million hopefuls should text their child’s index number to 22263.

Bruce’s father, Jared, told the media shortly after Education CS George Magoha announced the results that he had no idea his son would come out on top with 428 points.
“I expected that he would perform well but I didn’t know he would emerge the best in the country,” Jared said.
He went on to say that he wants his son to get into Alliance High School, which is his dream school.
“Aeronautical Engineering has been his dream… he is not so much into medicine,” Bruce’s father added.

Magata was followed by Ashley Kerubo of Makini School Kibos, who received 427 points.
The overall number of students who took the KCPE exam in 2021 was 1,225,597, with 28,248 centers around the country.
