The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced 700 entry level job vacancies in two government departments.
In a notice carried in local dailies on Tuesday, April 5, PSC announced that it was looking to hire 400 individuals to fill the Probation Officer II positions and 300 to serve in the Supply Chain Management Officer II positions.
The probation officers will be stationed at the State Department of Correctional Services while the Supply Management officers will work in the National Treasury.
The application process is open until Monday, April 25, 5:00pm.
How to Apply
Applicants are advised to make their applications by visiting the Commission’s official website at psckjobs.go.ke. New users are advised to create accounts while regular users can access their existing accounts and make the applications.
To register, a user is expected to provide ID or a Passport number, surname, current email address and a password to access the system.
To apply for the advertised jobs, log into the system using the ID/Passport Number and the password created above.
While in the portal, the users must fill in their personal details, professional and academic qualifications, experience, membership to professional bodies, referees and any other relevant information.
All applicants are advised to ensure that that all info provided is correct since incomplete applications are usually not considered.
The applicants are advised to print and keep a copy of the Feedback Report (application summary) by clicking on the Report tab or Application Summary link on the Application Menu.
The Online Recruitment and Selection system allows applicants to amend their application at any time before the advert closure date.
