The highly awaited 2021 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results will be revealed on Monday by Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha.
Candidates, their parents, and guardians can view their results on the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) website, SMS platforms, county education offices, and their schools.
In order to get the results by SMS, applicants should submit their index number to 20076, followed by the initials KCPE (in capital letters).
All mobile networks can use the SMS platform, which costs Sh25 per message.
It is also recommended that students leave no space between the index number and the initials KCPE.
Following Magoha’s speech, the service was instantly made available.
He advised the hopefuls to get their results from their schools.
The results of the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education test can be viewed online by candidates.
Candidates should go to the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) online and pick the KCPE option, then input their Index number and the year they took the national exams.
The Ministry of Education has advised students to be patient as the platform may face delays due to the urgency and great demand for the results.
The council recorded 1,225,507 candidates in 28,316 KCPE examination centers this year, compared to 1,191,752 candidates in 28,467 centers next year.
This represents a 2.75 percent growth of 33,755 people.
