A dissatisfied customer, Eunice Ireri, has openly criticized businesswoman Shiquo wa HiiStyle for failing to deliver multiple orders, prompting growing frustration among buyers.
Ireri’s case is not isolated, as she revealed that a WhatsApp group has been formed by disgruntled customers seeking legal action.
According to Ireri, she placed and fully paid for her order on October 27, 2024, with delivery promised within specified timelines—five days for Nairobi-based orders and between 25 to 40 days for items sourced from China. However, months later, several of her items remain undelivered.
Delivery Issues and Delays
Ireri detailed the status of her orders, highlighting a pattern of inconsistencies and unfulfilled promises:
- Kenya-based orders: Three items were delivered, but only one was in acceptable condition.
- China-based orders:
- One item (worth Ksh 357) was marked as delivered but never arrived.
- Another (Ksh 1,268) was received in good condition.
- One (Ksh 703) was the wrong item.
- Three other items (Ksh 325, Ksh 768, and another with no confirmed tracking) remain undelivered.

Concerns Over Additional Charges
Ireri also raised concerns about additional charges imposed on customers. Despite prepaying for delivery at the time of purchase, the company’s delivery partners have been demanding extra fees before releasing items. The only consistent communication from the seller, she claims, has been links requesting tax payments on the shipments.
She further noted that the extra charges significantly inflate the overall cost of China-imported items, sometimes making them more expensive than similar products available locally—without the inconvenience of waiting over four months for delivery.
Growing Customer Frustration
With 4.5 months having passed since placing her order, Ireri expressed her frustration, questioning how long a customer should be expected to wait. Many other affected buyers have suggested physically visiting the seller’s shop to demand refunds or action, a move Ireri humorously dismissed as impractical.
As complaints continue to mount, pressure is building on Shiquo wa HiiStyle to address the grievances and provide clear resolutions. Customers affected by similar experiences are now contemplating legal action to hold the business accountable for undelivered goods and questionable pricing practices.
