Police officers in Nairobi have successfully tracked down and arrested Christ Impact Church preacher, Peter K, who has been on the run since 2022 after being accused of sodomy.
His arrest was confirmed by Nakuru East Police Commander Sheila Kegode, who stated that the preacher will remain in police custody as investigations continue before he is formally charged.
Peter K had been evading authorities for over two years and was under police surveillance in Nakuru. His arrest comes after renewed pleas from the family of one of his alleged victims, prompting authorities to issue a fresh warrant for his arrest.
Two weeks ago, angry members of the public raided his church in Nakuru following accusations of sexual misconduct.
The public outrage added pressure on law enforcement agencies to intensify their manhunt, ultimately leading to his capture in Nairobi. He was arrested alongside an accomplice and later transferred to Nakuru Police Station for further processing.

According to reports from one of his alleged victims, Peter K lured him into drinking alcohol before sexually assaulting him. The victim, a TukTuk driver in Nakuru at the time, recounted how the preacher approached him for transportation services to a church event before convincing him to join him for drinks.
The victim further claimed that Peter K persuaded him to enter his vehicle, which had no back seats, under the pretense of hiring him as a driver. However, after consuming alcohol, the victim later woke up in pain and realized he had been sodomized.
The arrest of Peter K marks a significant breakthrough in the pursuit of justice for the alleged victims. Authorities are urging anyone with additional information or similar experiences to come forward as investigations continue.
