Mijungu’s move follows his four-year tenure at KTN News, where he made a significant impact as a news anchor. In his farewell message, he expressed gratitude for the experience and support he received at Standard Group.
“A good dancer knows when to exit the stage! Four years of absolute adrenaline and nothing but the best—as unpredictable as it was. It’s time to find something else to do while I still can,” he wrote on his X page.
“Forever grateful to God, my colleagues, Standard Group, and KTN News. Adios.”
His transition to TV47 signals new opportunities, not just for the journalist but also for the growing media house as it seeks to expand its reach and influence.
Fans and industry stakeholders eagerly await to see what Mijungu will bring to his new role.
