Former Citizen TV journalist Kimani Mbugua is making a comeback to the media industry, thanks to comedian and media personality Oga Obinna.
In a heartfelt interview, Obinna revealed that he has hired Mbugua to join Obinna TV, with his start date slated for January 2025.
A Second Chance at the Limelight
Obinna explained that the decision to bring Kimani Mbugua on board is part of an effort to help him rebuild his career after his prolonged battle with bipolar disorder.
Mbugua will head the current affairs department at Obinna Studios and oversee digital streaming activities.
“My goal is to help Kimani regain his footing in the media industry, re-establish his name, and give him a steady source of income,” Obinna shared.
