In a disturbing turn of events, a pastor identified as Elias Njau, accused of attempted murder surrendered at Nakuru police station on Monday morning, accompanied by his lawyer.
The man allegedly attacked and stabbed his girlfriend during a domestic altercation at their Kiamunyi home on November 22.
The victim, who also shares a land business with the suspect, sustained severe stab wounds to her head and hands. She recounted that their argument spiraled into violence.
Following the attack, the suspect fled the scene, leaving her unconscious. Neighbors rushed her to the hospital, where she is now recovering in stable condition.
The suspect has been transferred to Menengai police station as detectives investigate the motive behind the attack.
