In a recent interview with content creator Dem Wa Facebook, Irene Nekesa, the former househelp of Diana Marua and Bahati, opened up about her departure from their household, addressing rumors circulating on social media.
Irene explained that her exit was amicable and encouraged by the Bahati family, who supported her desire to pursue personal growth and new opportunities.
Dispelling claims that she was fired, Irene said, “I worked hard, and Diana and Bahati appreciated that. We have a lot of love for each other.”

Irene shared that the decision to leave was mutual, rooted in a positive relationship with her former employers, who encouraged her to find her own path.

“I still have love and respect for her,” she noted.
