After two years, media personality Fathiya Mohamed Nur has parted ways with KTN Home, a station owned by Standard Group.
In her announcement on Wednesday, Fathiya expressed gratitude to the KTN management for having relied on her over the previous two years.
The gifted reporter and news anchor outlined some of her major accomplishments while working for the TV station in her farewell speech, including launching her own TV show.
“Time for a brand new story! It’s been almost two years as a News Anchor at KTN News. I’m so, so proud of what I have achieved. Key highlight: Birthing my international news programme, World Report, which is now a flagship show at KTN News! Thanking God for leading me through this journey and onto greater things. Excited for the new chapter,” Fathiya Mohamed said as she exited KTN.
The news anchor joined the station two years ago after leaving the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) after four years.
Interestingly, Fathiya exited KTN in August 2018 to join the British media house before making a comeback in June 2022.
While leaving BBC for KTN she wrote; “It’s been a great four years at the BBC. I have learnt and grown so much. BBC has opened many doors for me and I’m always gonna be grateful but for now time for a new challenge.#Alhamdulillah
“Thank you to all my BBC colleagues who have supported my growth since I joined in 2018. To my breakdown team! OmG, we’ve been such a great family, I’m gonna miss you guys sooooo much!! Much love,❤️,”.
The talented journalist has also worked for CGTN and K24 TV.
