Manzi wa Kibera’s ex-lover, is facing financial struggles after breaking up with his elderly ex-lover, Nzioki.
In a video, Nzioki, 67, appears distressed and unhappy, having lost all his belongings and feeling stressed due to poor living conditions.
“Wamechukua vitu zangu zote za nyumba, siko sawa, niko na mawazo kwa akili. Nilikua na Manzi wa Kibera akaniruka. Nilikua naenda out na yeye sai ata hataki kuniona,” he said.
The elderly man had earlier admitted that he had spent all of his savings on the socialite’s necessities and upkeep, and he had also acknowledged that their breakup was a direct result of his financial predicament.
Speaking to a local YouTuber, the elderly man emphasized that Manzi wa Kibera’s actions became unsatisfactory upon realizing he was broke. She also chose to terminate their relationship, even though Nzioki begged her to stay in the relationship and assured her he would do everything in his power to get his finances back in order.
Manzi wa Kibera gave an explanation of her side of the story, stating that Nzioki’s promiscuity was the reason she ended the relationship. Speaking with a local publication, the mother of one child claimed that the elderly man had cheated on her with several women.
She also claimed that her ex-lover hurt her so badly that she resorted to chewing Miraa which she says has damaged her teeth.
While explaining the cons of her previous relationship, Manzi introduced her new man identified as Daniel Njau
“Anabore. Nilichukua phone yake nikaenda kwa messages nikapatana na messages. Alikuwa anacheat na madem wengi. Walikuwa wanamuambia awachane na mimi akiwatumia pesa,” she said.
“Mi na ex, tulikua on and off, alikua na tabia ya kupenda tusichana tudogo alinipea stress nikakula miraa adi meno zangu karibu ziturn colour, but God ni mkubwa nikapata uyu, I hope huyu hatanisumbua,” she added.
When asked why she preferred older men the socialite confidently claimed that it was her destiny and that she knew how to handle them.
“Niko na damu ya wazee labda, mi najua kuhundle wazee, wazee ndo zangu, nadundadunda apo kwa wazae,” she said.
Nzioki’s and Manzi’s, whose relationship was touted as clout-chasing, sparked debate owing to the age gap between them when they announced they were an item.
At the time, they refuted the rumours and stood firm that they were dating and later announced that they were expecting a child.
“Some words are very hurtful. Ati mi nadate ancestor, ati mzae hana nguvu, ngai sasa hizo ni vitu gani mnaambia mtu surely na venye hii mapenzi yangu na mzae imeshika aki mnanihuzunisha,” she said at the time.
