A 77-year-old elderly man was discovered dead after checking into a Machakos Hotel with a 32-year-old woman.
After the man, later identified as James Musili, was discovered unconscious in the hotel room, the proprietor of Shammah Hotel called the police.
According to a police report obtained by TUKO.co.ke, cops responded to the report and discovered Musili dead on the bed with no clothing on.
“A Meru/f/a namely Gladys Karimi Maina aged 32 years whom they had booked the room together was found in the room. The scene was processed, and a search was conducted in the room,” the police report indicated.
According to the report made at the Masii Police Station in Mwala sub-county, the deceased’s bag was found to have 25 tablets of men booster, four of which were empty.
“The body was taken to Machakos funeral home awaiting postmortem, and the lady booked for further interrogation,” the report indicated.
Similarly, police also investigated a bizarre incident where a man was found dead in a lodging in Runyenjes town, Embu county.
The man is reported to have travelled from his home in Tharaka Nithi to Embu, more than 30 kilometres apart, for a yet-to-be-established ‘mission’.
The deceased booked a room together with a young lady, and they retired to bed. His body would be found by cleaners later.
In a move that raised eyebrows, the lady who he had checked in with into the room was missing.
