On Sunday, April 9, a couple surprised Muthee Kiengei, a preacher and host for Kameme FM, by giving him a brand-new Nissan Serena.
The couple came up to the stage as the pastor was finishing the church service and presented him an envelope indicating that the car was parked outside.
Kiengei was taken aback by the extravagant gesture and requested confirmation before receiving the lavish gift.
“I have one question. Do you both agree to bless us with the car?” he posed.
“Yes we do,” they answered much to the applause of the congregation.
Kiengei, thereafter, heartily accepted the gift and affirmed that the vehicle would be the property of his newly built church, Jesus Christ Compassion Ministries.
“Since it’s their resolution, I now receive this vehicle to be the property of JCM in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit,” the media personality stated.
Kiengei, whose real name is Benson Gathungu Kamau, also noted that the Easter period was marked with God’s blessings upon the church.
“This day ends with new blessings. This Easter Marks the greatest gifts to JCM, Kiengei Live family and also Rev Ben’s family,” he stated.
The vehicle consists of a 4-cylinder, 16-valve engine with an S-Hybrid system. It also possesses an X-tronic Continuously Variable Transmission with Adaptive shift control.
Other interior features include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, 6.75 Inch Touchscreen Infotainment, intelligent key with push-start ignition and zero gravity-inspired seats. The market price for the vehicle is placed at an average of Ksh3 million.
The news came days after Kiengei was surprised with a Ksh195,000 microphone by a colleague at Kameme FM, Muthoni wa Kirumba, on Friday, April 7.
“If someone can invest her Ksh195,000 for you, this should bring tears and happiness at the same time.
“This has caught me by surprise. This is a very expensive microphone to be used by someone like me,” Kiengei celebrated at the time.
