Edday Nderitu insists that polygamy does not work, in contrast to Karen Nyamu, who has no problem sharing Samidoh with him.
Edday and Samidoh had a falling out in February 2023 when Edday returned to Nyamu in the wake of their shocking breakup in Dubai in December 2022.
After seeing her husband and daughter dance together at their daughter’s birthday party, Edday said on April 2, 2023 that she and her husband had reunited.
After what happened at the birthday, many people thought Edday had conceded that her husband was a polygamist.
Yet, the mother of three publicly denied having accepted Karen Nyamu as her cowife. She responded to internet users who left comments on her Instagram account by insisting that polygamy only exists in hell.
“Polygamy works,” sheila_subira commented on Edday’s post.
“Sasa umetuonyesha you have accepted polygamy so give Karen her freedom too to post pictures with Samidoh,” another netizen commented.
“@shiro_muitungu Birthday ya mtoto na polygamy inakujia wapi wacheni kuforce issue,” Edday replied.
Samidoh shows love to Eddah
Over the weekend, a video of Mugithi singer Samuel Muchoki popularly known by his stage name Samidoh dancing with his wife Edday Nderitu emerged.
They were filmed dancing together at the birthday party of their youngest daughter, Neriah Wairimu Muchoki who turned a year old.
The video sees the two love birds dance close to each other as he sings his song, which features Prince Indah dubbed Bado Nakupenda.
This video is a win for team ‘goat wives’ who have thrown their weight behind Edday after Karen Nyamu was named as wife number two.
The song is about a lady who left her relationship and traveled to a far-off land. In the song’s lyrics, Samidoh says it has pained his heart since she left.
“That makes me think of you even when I don’t want to. When I try calling you, you answer at your own pleasure. When I think of physically looking for you, you shrug me off,” he sings.
