Miss P, a musician, has admitted that she has given up music because she despises the attention it attracts.
The young woman claimed in an interview with YouTuber 2 Mbili that the attention that comes with being a celebrity is exhausting.
She added that she finds it challenging to handle the pressure and expectations that come with becoming a celebrity.
After quitting her singing career, Miss P said she erased her social media accounts because she needed a private life.
“I just realised the attention of being a celebrity is not my thing. It was so much overwhelming because there is so much pressure,” she said.
Miss P also divulged that she quit music because she is a staunch believer in Christ.
She believes being in a secular music industry would ruin her chances of going to heaven.
“Another reason why I quit music is that I am a believer in Christ. And I have been in salvation. Something came over me and the moment I deleted my social media accounts I found peace. I feel we are living in the end times and I would not want Jesus to find me doing things that are contrary to God’s will,” she said.
According to Miss P, who was previously under Willy Paul’s record label, her mentors were demanding sexual favours from her.
“People had ulterior motives. A different agenda which they don’t put out when we are starting,. In the line of sexual favours,” Miss P said.
