Lulu Hassan, the Swahili-speaking host of Citizen TV, has sent a message of congratulations for Francis Gachuri, a former coworker who has been appointed to the Ruto’s gov’t.
Gachuri a seasoned political journalist, landed an appointment in Cabinet Secretary Kindiki Kithure’s security docket.
According to reports, the renowned journalist has been appointed as the ministry of interior’s new Secretary, Strategic Communications.
Lulu posted a picture of a happy Gachuri on Instagram with the caption:

According to Citizen Digital, Gachuri, while bidding farewell to his former colleagues, in a meeting, said:
“On September 1, 2007, I joined RMS as a political reporter. 5,660 days later, I announce my exit to take up another national assignment. I am grateful and humbled by the many experiences, lessons, and opportunities I have had in the industry.”
He added:
“I thank God for everything. I have the rare privilege of working with the very best in the industry. My colleagues are the best.”
