Zia Bett, the wife of rapper Nyashinski, started her weight-loss journey a few months after the birth of their second kid.
Zia released a video from one of her morning runs to inform her fans that she has begun exercising and that she is participating in the Keto Challenge, a weight loss program. Her goal is to drop eight kilograms in two months.
“It’s probably gonna take me a while to get back to where I used to be but I realized with my Keto journey, I feel like I brought you guys on board after I had already lost weight. So I was like let me take you guys on this journey as I try to lose a couple of kgs…”
Nyashinski hinted that his wife Zia had delivered their second child in January.
The singer took to his social media to declare that he is working hard for his sons.
“I want to create a legacy my sons will be proud of.”
Nyashinski and his wife Zia welcomed their first child – a boy- two years ago. In 2022 during Nairobi governor Johnson Sakaja’s inauguration, Zia turned up in public, with a noticeable baby bump.
For the first child, he wrote, “Thank you, God, for the most precious gift,” accompanied by heart emojis and a photo of a baby.
The couple welcomed their first child two years ago after managing to put their pregnancy off social media for nine months.
In June 2021, Zia shared that the first few months after giving birth were hard for her.
“The first few months for me, we hard, I didn’t imagine what motherhood would be like. You just imagine it would be fun, playing with your baby, and you bond instantly. But motherhood is quite demanding and that’s a side that only mums can understand.”
“Thank you God for the most precious gift,” the singer wrote at the time.
They have since kept the child out of the public eye.
The long-term lovers prefer to keep their personal lives away from the limelight and are known to maintain their relationship and family life under wraps.
In late 2019, Nyashinski and Zia held a private traditional wedding ceremony in Rift Valley, Nandi attended by family and close friends, including notable stars.
