The strange disappearance of upcoming musician Czars has drawn the attention of investigative journalist John-Allan Namu, who has pledged to assist.
Since the artist vanished over 15 years ago, nobody is sure if he is still alive or has passed away.
Namu, who is now looking into the murders of several Kenyans, including the Keroche Heiress Tecra Muigai, has stated that he will do everything in his power to assist Kenyans in understanding what happened to the Czars.
Czars, whose actual name is Abdulkarim Mohammed, went for a walk from his father’s Bamburi house in Mombasa County 15 years ago and never came back.
On Twitter, a Kenyan revived the disappearance while requesting Namu to check into it, saying that fans deserved answers.
“John Allan Namu, we need to find out what happened to this guy. We need closure,” @AmungaTheGreat wrote on Friday, February 17.
His comment caught the scribe’s attention, and he agreed to give it a look.
“Okay, let us do our best,” Namu responded.
Namu however admitted that it was still too premature to talk about the case with his team.
“This has to be one of the most requested stories for us to pursue. Tell you guys what,if you all help we can do it together. Need to talk with @AfUncensored team first though,”.
Czars was set to sit his Form Four examination at the Kilindini Secondary School before his disappearance which at the time sparked rumors that he had run away to avoid doing exams.
Some even speculated that he had been kidnapped or was somewhere in Nairobi’s Eastleigh area living with a cougar.
His father has tried to search for him everywhere in the country but his efforts to find him bore no fruit.
It has become a nightmare for the talented singer’s father.
