Willis Raburu, a media celebrity, has revealed that he will marry his fiance Ivy Namu this year in a colorful wedding.
In an interview with TUKO, the acclaimed media personality and father of two said that there will be a wedding.
Although he refused to share the date, he was overjoyed to say that it will be this year.
“I can say it is definitely going to be between the months of January and December of this year, I can’t wait,” he said as he burst out laughing.
He and Ivy Namu have two children, a son named Mali and a girl named Yara.
When he’s with his soon-to-be wife Namu, the 10 over 10 host says he feels at home.
Raburu recruited Nviiri The Storyteller and Bensoul to serenade his then-heavily pregnant wife before proposing marriage to her on his son’s first birthday in July 2022.
Namu, apparently astonished but overjoyed, said yes and posed for photos, showing off her adorable ring.
“A thousand times yes, in this lifetime and the next ,” she posted on Instagram.
Raburu and Namu started dating in 2020 after the media personality divorced his first wife, Marya Prude, after being together for three years.
He said that he appreciates how accommodating and understanding Namu is.
“She takes everything with grace and is very understanding. I could live anywhere in the world provided she is with me,” he said.
