Lilian Ng’ang’a, the former first lady of Machakos, has published a book titled “Madam First Lady” that delves deeper into her biography.
Lillian, Juliani’s wife, recounted in an Instagram post how she toiled on the book for more than a month without crying.
Former Machakos governor Alfred Mutua’s ex-partner made it apparent that the book details her experience in the spotlight, her accomplishments as a County First Lady, as well as her resignation from office.
She started;
“When my significant no #2 aligns, I am delighted to give you a sneak peek of something special I have been working on for the last two months…#MadamFirstLady!”
To the former first lady, truth is all that matters. Well, maybe she wanted to fill the ‘Why?’ questions from people since she left people’s mouths wagging after her separation from Alfred Mutua.
“This mini-memoir that I cherish is a book about owning my story, taking control of the narrative, and telling my truth. From being catapulted into the limelight amidst a lot of chatter, to achieving a lot under the County First Lady’s Office to the eventual “stepping down” from the position…From my heart to yours! Fancy a copy, another copy for your friends and family? Your book club? Stay tuned!” noted Lillian.
The mother of one had earlier rejoiced about her victory on her Instagram post, writing;
“Today is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it, 22.2.22”
“I have something exciting to share,” she added.
She confidently congratulated herself after releasing her “Madam first lady ” book remarking that it was a second achievement.
She promised to release another book, encouraging her followers to be writers since she believes everyone has a story to tell.
“I am an Author. Never conclude that you have no story to tell. Your life is your story. Tell it loudly. Next book loading.”
