He was born on 27th June in 1991. He turned 31 in June 2022.
Education
Stephen Letoo went to Kabianga High for his Secondary School education. He then joined the prestigious University of Nairobi where he pursued his degree in Journalism.
Career
Stephen grew his passion for journalism from his young days. In high school he started weekly assembly news which he called ‘Kabianga 100’. It was through this that he got a chance to be a reporter at radio Africa Group sister stations Kiss 100 and Classic 105. Letoo also wrote for Capital Campus Site.
He later got the opportunity to join Citizen TV where he works to date. In April 2018, during the deportation of Miguna Miguna, Stephen was assaulted by plain clothed GSU officers at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. He however recuperated well.
Letoo has also on numerous occasions been affiliated to the NASA party. He however denied the claims and said his nature of news and reporting requires him to be close to political figures as they can only trust a few people.
Salary
Letoo earns approximately Ksh.800000 per month because of his senior reporter rank.
House
Letoo recently showed off his multi-million 6-bedroomed house, which cost him KSh 8 million to construct.
The journalist revealed he is polygamous and said both his wives would have identical houses.
“If I happen to be lucky to marry them at once, then the six bedrooms are enough for us,” he said.
