Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate William Ruto is a relaxed man today. Hours after casting his vote, he is basking in the sunlight in his expensive Sugoi home.
The outgoing Soy MP Caleb Kositany took to his social media platforms to share a photo of Ruto and his wife relaxing at home.
Another acquittance of Ruto, Uasin Gishu gubernatorial aspirant Jonathan Bii-Cheliim also shared a photo of Ruto and his wife Rachel chilling with their visitors who had come to wish them success in the ongoing voting exercise.

Bii-Cheliim accompanied the photo with a caption saying,
“I have paid a courtesy call to our 5th Presidential, H.E William Samoei Ruto, at his Sugoi home in the advent of the ongoing peaceful voting process. I have gladly extended my regards to our hopeful incoming President and wished him well as we look forward to a smooth conclusion of the Election process throughout the Country.”
Ruto and his wife cast their vote at 6 am today at Kosachai Primary School. Speaking to the press at the polling station, Ruto hoped that the process would go smoothly without hitches. He urged Kenyans, especially his supporters to come out in large numbers and vote for him. He also urged Kenyans to be peaceful as the whole country awaits the results.
His competitors have also voted.
Martha Karua and Justina Wahome, the deputy presidential candidates of the Azimio coalition and Roots Party, respectively, were also at their respective polling stations by 6 am to vote.
Raila Odinga voted in the midmorning while Wajackoya finally voted in the afternoon after the KIEMS Kit had failed to recognize him.
Nonetheless, all the presidential candidates and their deputies have asked Kenyans to maintain peace and calm.
