VIDEO: Raila Odinga Loses Cool as Robert Alai, Sifuna Fight at Azimio Rally
Raila Odinga, a presidential candidate for Azimio La Umoja, took offense to an altercation between blogger Robert Alai and Edwin Sifuna, a senatorial candidate for Nairobi, who is vying for the Kileleshwa ward seat.
The two allegedly disagreed about who would get to speak at a demonstration on Saturday, July 16 in Kawangware, Nairobi.
Raila intervened in their altercation and told them to stop interfering with his event.
After losing his cool and becoming confused by the size of the fight, Raila was heard yelling at the pair.
On Sunday, June 12, 2022, officials from the Ukambani Region and Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga participated in a rally in Athi River.
“Alai, Alai. What is happening!,” Raila Odinga shouted at the two Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) politicians.
Robert Alai has no respect. Alai has no leadership qualities.

Minutes later, when everything was peaceful again, the rally continued. Residents were urged by Raila to support Azimio because it may revive the economy.
Additionally, he mobilized female voters to back Martha Karua, his running companion, and other ODM candidates.
“Don’t vote for me and leave me isolated in Parliament. I do not want to be a captive president. My opponents will intimidate me with impeachment every day. I want you to give me MPs and MCAs,” he stated.

Chai Ya Robert Alai vs Edwin Sifuna proceeded but Baba had to intervene. How shameful is it for such leaders to behave like toddlers fighting for milk? The altercation started at Congo state in Kawangware but the rivalry proceeded while visitors looked at them helplessly. pic.twitter.com/C5vfPx2pum
