One of the most sought-after female disc jockeys in the nation, DJ Pierra Makena, has finally reacted after some social media users criticized her photo.
The former Tahidi High actress revealed on Instagram on July 13 that she doesn’t care what other people think of her and urged them to refrain from attacking her.
According to Pierra, she used to worry about what other people thought of her and would listen to their comments about how overweight, skimpy her clothing was, and other things.
She used to pay attention to what people were saying about her and respond by going to the gym or hiding herself.
She claimed that she started loving herself for who she is and stopped caring about what other people thought of her. Since that time, Pierra said she hasn’t turned around and is now happier.
“SWEETHEARTS MKO AJE LEO? Listen….years ago I was dead terrified about what will people say!! I Was overweight..I got trolled and peoples opinion became my daily bread… I covered myself..I was not proud of myself and I hated me all because of few peoples opinions,” she said.
Adding:
“One day I turned around and realised that I don’t need to take it. And my life changed. I started loving me and everything that is me. So if today you see me doing me, with all due respect keep your opinion of me to yourself.. on a scale of 2017 to now I DGAF. Otherwise NAWALOMBOTOVU!!!!!! ION I have a new work out plan if you want to join me…..”
The skilled turntablist said that she did not care and urged her followers to contact her if they needed a workout schedule.
On Tuesday, Pierra became the talk of the town after sharing a picture that appeared to show her camel toe, the appearance that is caused by a pair of pants or shorts that are too snugly fitted around a woman’s groin.
Many online users believe that a person of her status should not have posted such a photo because so many people look up to her.
Some advised her to consider what Ricca Pokot, her daughter, might think of her if she later finds the picture.
